Not that Broly's packing on skill either but Nappa wasn't exactly popping on sweet skills and techniques. He was easily angered and unable to fight until Vegeta told him to cool down and apparently his strongest attack could be stopped by a last second KHH from Goku.

Well, based on technique and fighting skills alone Nappa would probably win. He seems more skilled with ki blasts and Broly isn't actually a skilled fighter.

I get the feeling Nappa also has more skill, since Broly's life revolved more around destroying things with ease, while Nappa would have at one point had to compete with other Saiyans for his high ranking status. Broly also has SSj stamina drain.

He was just saying that, since it's common knowledge that Saiyans lose energy from SSJ until trained properly, you would need to prove that Broly was an exception somehow.
